Lucie Trinco graduated from Whitehouse Institute of Design in 1994 with a Diploma of Design. She was the first student in Whitehouse history to receive a full scholarship to study for her Masters in Italy. She spent a year in Milan at the Marangoni institute and finished her Masters in Product management there.
Lucie has lived in several different countries, being an assistant designer at Marks and Spencer’s in London before heading back to Australia to make her success there.
When she was first back in Sydney, Lucie worked at Apparel group as a Sales and Product Manager on various accounts such as: ‘Katies’, ‘Myer’, ‘Glassons’ and ‘Sussan’.
Lucie’s next goal in life was to become head of Design at a well known fashion company, so she decided to go for the next step and started working at Fiorelli as a designer. After Fiorelli, Lucie worked as an Accesoires and Casual wear Designer at JigsawDavid Lawrence before finally achieving her lifetime goal in 2004, working as Design Manager at Oroton now.
Lucie loves working in Fashion and loves the fact that her job requires her to travel to different countries all the time. It keeps everything fresh and nothing is ever mundane in the Industry.
