Maximum numbers per class apply, once reached, new applicants are wait-listed until minimum numbers are met. Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum numbers are not met.
Applicants must complete introductory short course before taking the advanced short course.
The short courses outlined are non-accredited courses.
Each drawing short course included tuition and reference cost, but excludes art materials. All short course students will be required to supply their own art materials.

Students are required to supply their own art materials.
An art kit is available for purchase (indicate "yes" on the application form in the short courses brochure) or can be assembled by the student.
In addition to the art kit materials, all students must supply their own:
eraser, scissors, sharpener, glue stick, ruler (at least 30cm), water container/cup and soft nylon paint brush (sml-med size).
Standard Art Kit $55.00 (for introductory short courses ) consists of:
An A3 size cartridge paper sketch block, 4 sheets of A2 coloured Canson paper, a 2B lead pencil, a set of 12 water soluble coloured pencils (including white artists pencil).
Advanced Art Kit $110 (for the advanced fashion short course only) consists of:
An A3 size cartridge paper sketch block, 5 sheets of A2 coloured Canson paper, a 2B lead pencil, a set of 24 water soluble coloured pencils (including white artists pencil), paint brushes (sizes 2 & 15), 48 chalk pastels and artists paper.
It is optional to purchase a Whitehouse Art Kit but you must have all the required art equipment for the start of the short course. The kits are sold at wholesale prices at the Institute.
