Elise Convery - Bachelor of Design, Interior Design
Grand Designs Live with Kevin Mcleod - Gold Medal Winner

Elise's concept behind this design is to create the privacy within a studio apartment setting but also to optimize the living environment to cater for the sociological, physical and psychological needs of the client. The design was constructed for exhibition at Grand Designs Live, Sydney. The structure consisted of a ply wood shell with the interiors painted to suit the specified environment. The geometric feature wall was also a custom design specifically for this exhibit. This design concept and prototype won the Gold Medal in the Rooms by Design competition at the Grand Designs Live Home show in Sydney in 2014.
