Daniele Davitti Joins Whitehouse Institute

, Free Illustration Workshop

We are so excited to welcome Daniele Davitti to our Whitehouse family! Born in Italy in 1986, Daniele studied illustration and fashion at the prestigious Polimoda Institute in Florence, where he designed his first collection before winning a scholarship to Bunka Fashion College in Japan in 2008. There he received his Masters Degree in Fashion Design and Illustration.

While in Japan, Daniele turned his attention towards fine arts and painting whilst still holding on to the strong influences of the fashion industry. Japan gave him the chance to study traditional art forms, languages and methods, including the art of ink, kimono and Japanese style and imagery.

In 2011 Daniele became Professor of Graphic Design and the Aesthetic of Fashion at Polimoda in Florence, becoming one of the youngest teachers ever hired. Since then he has exhibited or collaborated with Vanity Fair, The Moretti Gallery in London, La Pergola Theatre, various art fairs throughout Europe and much more.

We welcome Daniele’s global knowledge and cultural influence into our family and we look forward to watching his inspiring and innovative nature complement our already talented students!
