FEES & FINANCIAL AID
Studying at higher education level is a significant step, and you don't have to navigate it alone - support and guidance are available at every stage.
We're here to walk you through the payment and financial aid options at Whitehouse, so you have a clear understanding of what's available to you.
ACCESS TO FEE-HELP
Whitehouse Institute of Design is a registered Higher Education Private Provider. All of our higher education undergraduate and postgraduate courses are eligible for the Australian government's FEE-HELP. More on what FEE-HELP is below.
DOMESTIC FEES
Please note: Tuition fees and other charges are subject to annual review and may increase each year. Any increase in fees applies to both new and continuing students.
INTERNATIONAL FEES
Please note: Tuition fees and other charges are subject to annual review and may increase each year. Any increase in fees applies to both new and continuing students.
Whitehouse offers students the opportunity to experience a wide range of different studio practices, each of which will require specific materials and equipment. The design staff have put together the Art and Technical Kits to ensure that students have essential supplies to assist them in the execution of consistent high-quality work. Provided you maintain and take care of the kits, you will continue use many items throughout your studies and beyond.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE KITS?
Please refer to the Undergraduate Course Enrolment Guide for an itemised list of what's included in the kits, and what items students need to additionally source themselves. Admissions will provide you a copy as part of your application and enrolment process. It will be your responsibility to replenish supplies when consumed or misplaced.
COST
Varies depending on course, speak to admission for more detail.
HOW TO PURCHASE
Payment for the relevant Art and Technical Kit can only be purchased directly through Whitehouse. At the time of your Confirmation of Enrolment, you will receive a digital invoice for your Art and Technical Kit. Kit payments are to be made as soon as possible, but no later than two weeks prior to commencement of studies (or by the published cut-off date). This is to avoid delays due to late payment/shipping.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE KITS?
Kits will be distributed on Orientation Day.
Non-tuition fees incurred through studying at Whitehouse are governed by the Higher Education Support Act.

FEE-HELP is a Government loan that covers tuition costs for eligible higher education students. Full details are available in the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility generally requires Australian citizenship, along with some additional criteria. Your student admissions advisor will walk you through the available fee payment options, including FEE-HELP and how to obtain it, during the application process.
More information on FEE-HELP can be found at https://www.studyassist.gov.au/
Where a FEE-HELP loan is in place, the Commonwealth Government pays your tuition fees directly to Whitehouse, and a corresponding FEE-HELP debt is recorded against you with the Australian Taxation Office.
