BRISBANE CAMPUS
Whitehouse's Brisbane campus is situated in Kangaroo Point, moments from the city centre and just across the river. Opened in February 2022, the purpose-built campus offers a design-focused space to study, with direct transport links and on-site parking. Inside, it's built around the way design is actually taught: atelier rooms for pattern-making and construction, photography and illustration studios, computer labs, and the design library that runs through every course. A pool and garden area give students somewhere to unwind between classes.
Brisbane is fast becoming Australia's strongest city for cultural growth, with a creative scene that now rivals the nation's long-established hubs. At the heart of it is James Street, an award-winning lifestyle precinct home to some of the country's most celebrated design hotels, restaurants, and flagship fashion and design boutiques. The city's momentum is further amplified each year by the Brisbane Fashion Festival, a highlight on the national calendar showcasing established and emerging Australian talent.
The Kangaroo Point Cliffs and lookout are a short walk from campus, a favourite for students needing a break - the walking and cycling path along the top takes in sweeping views over the river to the city skyline. About a 10-minute walk away, Joey's clifftop restaurant makes the most of the same views over a coffee or long lunch, and an IGA supermarket nearby covers everyday essentials, with a few places for a coffee and a bite along the way.

If travelling to Whitehouse Brisbane campus by public transport, we recommend using a trip planner such as translink. Most public transport fares in Brisbane are $0.50.
BY TRAIN
Central station is the closest train station by foot with a 30-minute walk to campus. Connecting buses are available from Central station and Fortitude Valley station.
BY BUS
Bus stops are right on our doorstep serviced by buses 216, 221, 227, 228, 231, 232 and 236.
BY CAR
Whitehouse Brisbane operates a 79-space car park free for student, visitor and staff use.
Additional street parking is available on O'Connell St and Lambert St across the road, and in surrounding streets (mixed all day and 2-hr spaces).
Rideshares such as Uber is common with drop off on O'Connell St across the road being the best Uber pick-up and drop-off area.
BY FOOT
Kangaroo Point Green Bridge connects our campus to the city centre in under 15 minutes.
BY E-BIKE
E-bikes can be commonly found around the Kangaroo Point area.
