WOOLWISE (AWET)
STUDENT GRANT

In partnership with Whitehouse, Woolwise a.k.a. the Australian Wool Education Trust (AWET) allocates grants to final year Fashion Design students across our Sydney and Melbourne campuses. In 2026, six Whitehouse students each obtained a $1500 grant to help fund their graduate collection.

Select Whitehouse Melbourne students have their work on show in the Student Collections Runway during Melbourne Fashion Week.

Whitehouse students obtain exclusive opportunties to experience the AFW event, from backstage working on runway shows to the design room floors of runway labels.

THE PROJECT

Whitehouse partners with Saturday Indesign, a leading Sydney design conference. In 2026, this partnership connected students with Talostone, a long-established supplier of stone and mineral surfaces, giving them the chance to work on a real industry event.

CREATIVE SHOWCASE

Whitehouse student James Watts was named Judges' Choice winner of Creative Showcase 2025 for his work "High Fashion, It's A Flight Risk." James was selected by the six judges for the work's technical ability, storytelling, creativity and striking point of view awarding him $5000.

POWERHOUSE MUSEUM
FUTURE FASHION

The Sydney Powerhouse Museum's Future Fashion program takes a glimpse into the next generation of Australian design, showcasing the graduate collections of 4 standout designers emerging from tertiary fashion and textile courses. In 2026, Whitehouse student Jarrah Carlisle was selected to showcase her graduate collection. The exhibition is currently on display until 6 Dec 2026.

WHITE SHIRT CAMPAIGN

In exclusive partnership with Witchery, the Whitehouse Institute of Design White Shirt competition has been in operation since 2012.
