SYDNEY CAMPUS
Set across a six-storey building, the campus offers an industrial-meets-contemporary space to study, surrounded by the cafés, studios and creative energy of one of Sydney's most connected inner-city neighbourhoods. Inside, it's built around the way design is actually taught: atelier rooms for pattern-making and construction, photography studios, computer labs, and the design library and showroom that run through every course.
Sydney hosts Australian Fashion Week each year, and the design calendar runs well beyond it. As the country's largest city, there's a steady run of exhibitions, launches and industry events that put students within reach of the wider Australian design and fashion trade. The harbour and the surf beaches along the coast aren't far off either, for the days that call for a break from studio.
Around the corner, George St Deli is the unofficial student go-to café (no affiliation with Whitehouse, just where everyone ends up during breaks). Just outside, Redfern Street runs the main café strip, a Woolworths Metro next to the station covers almost anything else you need. The station itself is less than five minutes away, one stop from Central.
Further out, Prince Alfred Park and the Eveleigh precinct are a short walk beyond the station, and Spice Alley in Chippendale is a bit further again. The iconic pub The Redfern is the local landmark just up the street, a century-old pub restored back to its original form and named after the suburb it sits in.

BY TRAIN
Redfern Station is less than a 5 minute walk from campus and one of the busiest stops on the network - it's also the stop where students heading to Sydney University get off, so the platforms and surrounding streets see steady foot traffic well into the evening.
It's one stop from Central, with direct lines into the city, the Inner West and southern suburbs.
Central Station itself is also a walkable option, about 15 minutes on foot via Prince Alfred Park.
BY METRO/LIGHT RAIL
The metro and light rail pass through Central Station as the closest stop to campus. Central Station itself is also a walkable option, about 15 minutes on foot via Prince Alfred Park. Connections to Redfern Station via train/bus are also available.
BY BUS
There are several bus stops close to campus located on Gibbons St (Redfern Station), Redfern St, Chamlers St and Cleveland St. Central Station is also a major stop for busses passing through.
BY CAR
Metered street parking is available in the area but typically up to 2-hrs. Whitehouse Sydney doesn't operate its own student car park and public transport is recommended.
Limited Whitehouse parking is available on request for visitors outside of major events.
Rideshares such as Uber is common with drop off right infront of the building possible.
BY E-BIKE
You can commonly find e-bikes such as Lime Bike for use/hire in the surrounding streets. Various bicycle paths, shared paths and quiet streets directly connect the campus to surrounding areas.
